Changes coming to the Caledonian Sleeper in 2018
Changes are coming to the Caledonian Sleeper in 2018, with the new service set to retain much loved features while introducing a raft of exciting new ones.
The new trains will offer a range of accommodation options including Comfort Seats and Classic Rooms. We are also pleased to introduce Club Rooms, which come with en-suite toilet and shower – a first for the Caledonian Sleeper.
We’ll also be introducing Suites, which gives guests the option of a double bed. And of course, we’ll have a range of fully accessible rooms for guests with reduced mobility.
The new trains will ensure guests, whether on business or leisure, wake at their destination refreshed and rejuvenated having travelled in comfort. Several new features have been included such as a hotel style key card entry system, reclining seats, upgraded panels for phone and gadget charging and WiFi.
Peter Strachan, Chairman, Caledonian Sleeper, said: “Travelling with the Caledonian Sleeper is a unique experience and the new train fleet being introduced will offer a new standard in overnight travel.”
